Easy-Roll supplies and installs the fire shutters from the UK’s leading manufacturer, Flame Armour. Fire shutters can be fitted to most masonry and steel structures, as well as timber stud partitions, subject to additional testing.

Product certification and compliance    

All fire shutters meet national and international safety standards and comply with local building codes and fire safety regulations. They are fully UKCA and CE marked to EN 16034:2014.

Fire rating

Flame Armour Fire Shutters provide up to four hours of integrity, meeting the requirements for the following fire ratings:

• E60 – 60-minute fire resistant rating
• E90 – 90-minute fire resistant rating
• E120 – 120-minute fire resistant rating
• E240 – 240-minute fire resistant rating 

Safety features, automatic activation and control systems    

Flame Armour products include a gravity fail-safe motor that ensures shutters will close in the event of fire, power failure or any other fault. If this happens, the fire shutter will begin a gravity-controlled descent, compartmentalising a building to prevent the spread of fire. 

This additional fail-safe ensures the fire shutter still operates as intended and activates even when components of the fire shutter have been compromised.

In addition, Easy-Roll provides battery back-up systems with all fire doors.
